Yaya, Bubblegum Angel

I do a lot of photography for my friend Yaya, who designs, makes and recreates cotumes...I love her work!

The location turned out perfect with the interior 'jungle' look, white grid of the windows, and the light coming in through the glass...COmbined with her bright pink & white outfit, she seemed rather like an exotic bird. Strange, I know!

I really enjoyed the colors...as you can see, I'm a total color freak to the point of being kitchy... But I love it!

Sadly this is the only one I really liked out of the shoot...It fails as a good image in my mind because I managed to chop off her toes. Bad Meg! Oh well! I learned better for next time.

This image was taken at the Athens Botanical Gardens in the winter of 2002 using an Olympus digital camera...
